  • France's Tragic Fate: Defeated soldiers return--people mourn--starving children in streets.

  • British Avenge Sinking of the Battleship Hood Aircraft flying, artillery firing at battleship Bismarck--Bismarck sinks.

  • Roosevelt and Churchill Meet: Churchill and Roosevelt aboard ship. U.S. Forces in Iceland.
